Customized 3D Visualization for STOBAG Sun Protection Solutions

As a new feature of the STOBAG B2B portal (for installers), two product visualization solutions were developed that significantly simplify the digital sales process for STOBAG’s sun and weather protection solutions, bring the products to life, and thereby improve the customer experience in the long term.

3D Visualization for a Standard CPQ Solution

STOBAG’s products are highly customizable. Installers can configure and order products through a standard CPQ system provided by STOBAG within a B2B portal. We had the opportunity to implement a custom 3D visualization solution using our Three.js 3D Viewer, which is based on parametric 3D models of sun and weather protection products. The 3D models respond dynamically to all configuration parameters and enable a realistic representation of complex and customized product variants.

Custom quote with product rendering in a real-world setting

Potential STOBAG customers receive a personalized quote that includes a photo showing their configured product in a real-world setting. Sales representatives at dealerships can use this web app to upload photos of the end customer’s location, allowing the previously configured product to be displayed with correct perspective and to scale.

Seamless Interfaces for Conversion Optimization

These two visualization features are seamlessly integrated into STOBAG’s installer portal and are designed specifically to visually enhance and personalize quotes, which has a measurably positive impact on the conversion rate.
