PWA - Progressive Web App

Progressive Web Apps (PWA) combine the simplicity of web apps with features of native mobile apps. PWA's are accessed via the browser and only need to be developed once for all platforms. The app store app process is sometimes tedious and can be bypassed with the "Add to Homescreen" function. The app can be easily accessed and installed via a link.

React Native App

If you want to develop native apps that consist of just one code base for all platforms (Android, iOS etc.), the open source framework React Native could be the best choice. The app is developed with React and thus web technologies, and can be installed on all conceivable devices via the app stores. In contrast to PWAs, web apps or hybrid apps, the very good performance of React Native Apps is another plus.

Hybrid App with Ionic Framework

If you want a mobile app that users can download from the app stores and you don't want to develop it twice for Android and iOS, hybrid apps could be the solution. Hybrid apps can be used across platforms and are therefore also the biggest challenger to native apps. One of the most successful hybrid app initiatives is the Ionic Framework, which can be used to develop web apps, PWAs and hybrid apps for the app stores based on the same code base.

Web Apps

In many use cases, the development of a native or hybrid app is not absolutely necessary. A web app that can be run on desktops and mobile devices alike often serves its purpose just as good. Web apps are developed with SPA (single page application) frameworks such as Angular, React or Vue. Define requirements

UX prototyping
